Drows weren't supposed to wonder outside. It hurt their eyes, and it wasn't becoming of a proper Dark Elf to be seen amongst the common low lives that wondered above the sun, bathed in the harsh light of the giant star they called 'Sun'. But Keturah was not what people would call a traditional Drow. Oh sure, she fourgh, acted, and prayed just like any other. But she also loved, cared, and though only for the better of her colony, rather then the betterment of herself, like many other ladies of her breed. In the end, when she was seen riding her large lizard like a horse into the back streets of a small neutral town called Boreh, people looked up to her with a grimace of what might be fear, might be shock, but definitly confusion.

Dressed in a solemn looking dark grey cloak, she seemed to be a deathly pressence. And the long spear that was strapped to her steads side did not seem to help the awkwardness in the air that was called by her being here, out in the open. Never the less, she was here, mostly for supplies rather then anything else. No matter what the Drow tradition was, they could not live forever underneath those godforsaken caves without fresh supplies, or, well, she couldn't anyway. There was so much of the world out there that was left unexplored because of the war between the Light and Dark Elves. And now, the treaty was being signed, a glorious moment for all those that had spent their life striving for it, struggling day-to-day for salvation. It was a great day for her. Malachi, her beloved Madai, was coming home.

It was also one of the main reasons she was here. Just beyond the pass between Boreh and AshGard was one of the many post of Drow kind. There was the front line, the border between Light and Dark, Styreians and Drow. In the Valley AshGard lay the beautiful, but also extremely dangerous Levis lake, the boundary and the marking point of Light Elf country. Today, most of the woman and men march back to the cave, most of them going via the vaste cave system that lead underground to their city, but some of them decoying their way through Boreh to give the Light Elves something to look at and to hide the cave entrance in the pass. Madai was one of the unfortunate that had been chosen to walk back. Mostly because he was a male. But also because he was a natural killer.

She was to wait here, collecting supplies for herself and her lover's new cave-home, and join the march. Sadly, though, it would mean that she would be come into contact with more then just Drows.

The end of the war and coming peace treaty meant some of those who had been kept safe from the fighting behind city walls could come out again. Be out in the wide world they could only look at for so long for the first time in years. It was a wondrous thing, especially for one young elf. An elf who'd dashed out if the city the moment she was able to.

A single Light Elf, mounted on a Cartazon, rode into the small town of Boreh. The glint of metal could be seen under the pale yellow cloak draped over the elf's shoulders. As the peace treaty was not signed yet, it wasn't entirely safe to go out and about without some kind of security, be it a couple guards, or a few weapons of your own. Verya had chosen to bring her own weapons. And so, the glint of metal seen under her cloak was her trusty dagger, and a pair of short swords. A quiver of arrows and a long bow were attached to the side of her mount's saddle, in easy reach, should she need it. She hoped she would have no need for them.

As she turned onto a new street, her hopes to not run into someone who'd been on the other side of the war were promptly dashed. There, at the other end of the street, on one of those awful giant lizards, was a Drow. Verya nearly pulled out her bow and put on arrow through the drow right then and there. Luckily for that elf, she stopped herself in time, her hand instead moving to rest on the hilt of one of her swords.

She stopped in the middle of the street, her grip on her sword tightening to the point that her knuckles had turned white. She aimed a cold glare at the Drow, as if daring her to make one wrong move.
